This week, I was reminded that the Lord is our Victor and He wears the Victor’s Crown. There are situations that we go into sometimes that make us fearful, scared, or apprehensive. These things seem so big compared to us and we feel like we are overcome with the world. But when we claim the Lord as our Victor nothing can have power over us!
Hallelujah, He has overcome the world.
Every high thing must come down. Every strong hold shall be broken. He wears the Victor’s Crown.
On Thursday night Bible study, we discussed and expressed how the Lord is the Lord of the Sabbath and He created the Sabbath so that we might have rest. We find our rest in Him. Matthew 12:20-21 states that “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through victory. In his name the nations will put their hope.” Though we may feel useless, broken down, and prone to mistakes, He will never discard us. He delights in us. He will bring us through to victory if in Him we put our hope.
Tough situations are never fun, but through them we learn and experience things. God has a purpose and a plan for everyone and everything. God puts us in these situations for a reason and that reason might just be to reach out to someone else and pray for their tough situation.
Lord, you have the Victory in all situations! Amen!
